Events in Our House

You just don't what you mean to people until they tell you. I got an email today that essentially told me to not quit blogging. Wow. She said, "So...what I was gonna say was that I want you to keep on blogging. I need the information. I love reading about the boys and your hectic life"

Point blank.

Ouch........

I've not been blogging for a while. There's a valid reason for it. I simply don't have much time.

Michael is going to boot camp on June 9th. The Sgt. will be here the evening of the 8th. He'll have to stay in a hotel and report to MEPS at o'dark thirty and be flown to NC at some unknown hour.

He will walk the stage on the 30th. We have a graduation "party" to "plan". I can't seem to wrap my head around that.

Last weekend Michael went to Nashville to visith my in-laws. This weekend he was in OK visiting our best buddy. This coming weekend he's flying to NJ to visit his aging grandparents.

Shane has been hired to work for our local baseball "field". I use that term loosely as our town has one of the best baseball complexes in the State of Texas. He's going to love this job. He went for his 'whiz' quiz and physical today. He will more than likely be working by this weekend.

Shane will be playing ball this summer. Shocker, right? Yeah. The cost is the real shocker. I'm still trying to recover from that shock.

Work is the most stressful it's been for as long as I can remember. I'm being leaned on more than ever, too.

I'm trying so hard to keep up with home stuff. I'm doing ok with it, but not great. My lilies are growing and blooming, but the yellows are blooming right now. My begonias are HUGE. My tomatoes aren't producing yet.

I just can't believe my "baby" is about to be gone and my real baby is employed. My. How has time flown.

I love life.

How are you?

Sounds more like you're putting him into the witness protection program - flying off in the middle of the night.
Doesn't it suck when life gets in the way of blogging? And if it didn't, we'd have nothing to blog about I suppose.
Wow, this is NOT a win-win thing.
Anyway, congrats to Michael! And good luck to mom!
